What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy
is hypnosis used for therapeutic purposes. A hypnotherapist guides a person into a deeply relaxed
and focused state of mind where they become more open to suggestions and their subconscious becom
es more
accessible.
This state is also known as trance and is a natural state you enter usually when relaxing. Examples of
when you might have experienced trance are when you are engrossed in a hobby, zoning out while you exercise
or
simply
daydreaming.
In this relaxed state the hypnotherapist will encourage your subconscious mind to find
new solutions to problems
and
make suggestions that help your unconscious mind achieve your goals
. It is
important to know that when experiencing a hypnotic trance, you
are completely in control and cannot be made
to do anything that is contrary to your beliefs.
Individual responses to hypnotherapy can vary, and not everyone
is equally
disposed
to hypnotic suggestion.

you uncover and utilise the resources you already have as well as understand where there might be gaps you
want to work towards closing.
